We’ve designed numerous landscapes for commercial clients, from landscaping plans for DA’s, detailed design for government clients, and concept designs for feasibility proposals.
Previous clients have included Optus, the Department of Biodiversity, Conservation and Attractions, the Department of Communities, and various architects and planning consultants. We have worked on a diverse range of sites including childcare centres, grouped dwellings, big box retail, remote telecommunication towers, playgrounds and schools.

We’ve successfully tendered on commercial projects to install landscapes designed by external landscape architects. We enjoy this process of collaborating with stakeholders to ultimately deliver a seamless experience for the client. Our commitment to each construct-only contract is to ensure that every detail in the documentation is honoured and the design intent is delivered precisely. We pride ourselves on our workmanship and finish, providing a safe workplace for our employees and subcontractors, and the timeliness of our delivery.

Oyster Harbour Bridge
Heath Development Company and Development WA joint venture
Emerge Associates
We won the tender in early 2021 to install the landscaping upgrades to the bridge over the ornamental lake at the Oyster Harbour development. The landscape was designed by Emerge Associates, who also acted as superintendent for the works.
The works entailed paving upgrades and concrete footpaths to each side of the bridge, a custom steel powder-coated balustrade with stainless steel handrail, stone-clad entrance statement plinths, cladding upgrades to the existing walls, an extension of the existing limestone retaining walls, and feature planting to the streetscape.
We achieved practical completion before the scheduled deadline and the project was completed on budget.

CONSTRUCT ONLY
Our capability includes the design and installation of commercial landscapes under a single D&C contract, and we consider this to be one of our major strengths. Our commitment is to deliver a stunning, functional landscape that is both on time and on budget. Following the completion of the installation, we can also manage the maintenance of the landscape through the consolidation period and any maintenance period required prior to handover of the site, or under an ongoing maintenance contract.

Drift Landscape Studio was engaged to design and install a multi-generational public open space with a nature playground and recreational precincts for the residents of Springdale Beach Denmark, a stunning residential estate of lifestyle blocks located just a few minutes from the Denmark town centre.
The project is to be delivered in two stages, with Stage 1 completed in June 2022, and Stage 2 due for completion in August 2023.
